What you will do:
- Proven ability to effectively manage technical and support staff in a laboratory setting.

Provides direct supervision of non-technical staff and operational supervision of technical staff in cooperation with technical supervisor, including scheduling, counseling, and disciplinary action.

What you will need:
- Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent Allied Health degree preferred. Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent to include MT, MLS, CLS, PA preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Three to five years leadership experience required, demonstrating initiative, motivation, and results.
- State of Ohio motor vehicle operator’s license. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and supervise diverse work team.
- Ability to work in an environment that is fast-paced and requires multi-tasking.
- Ability to read and write small letters and numbers.
- Ability to perform complex arithmetic calculations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with management, co-workers, patients, and members of the general public.
- Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Medical Center emergency codes.
