Provide Earned Value Management implementation support to ensure compliance with all government and contract requirements and internal procedures. As a Principal EVM Specialist, you assist the IPT assigned CAMs with their reporting, maintaining and updating of their EVM data, as well as conduct EVM training for all project stakeholders. By providing EVM oversight and training to the CAMs the program reporting requirements will be timely and accurate. You will lead data analytics/program reviews and advise leadership on areas to improve business performance. You will also support the Program Finance and Schedule leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities to ongoing cross-department continuous improvement, problem solving, project implementation, training, and governance efforts.

This role is open to a hybrid schedule or 100% remote work in most states

Must Haves:

A Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field and typically 14+ years of related work experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
A proven background and competency in Earned Value Management
Ability to develop effective EVM procedures, training, and work instructions relative to regulatory standards and internal processes
Apply Earned Value Management concepts in working with federal government contracts, budget process, and fund management
Capability to perform in depth earned value data analysis, inclusive of data quality checks and CDRL/SDRL (IPMR, CFSR, CSDR, etc.) review
Advanced skills in Earned Value Management software (Deltek Cobra), and familiarity with scheduling software (MS Project) and self service analytics (PowerBI)
Advanced experience implementing, training, and creating standard reports in Encore Analytics Empower
Ability to support tool evaluations, process integrations, and testing of system changes
Engage and build trust with the program management office to understand EVM benefits
Provide PMO with skills and tools necessary to be successful
Ability to develop and recommend cost and schedule management solutions relative to contract requirements
Recent IPMDAR reporting and DECM metrics experience for full-up EVMS reportable programs
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

Ability to work across multiple software systems and comprehend system relationships
Develop and conduct relevant stakeholder learning sessions
Experience in Earned Value validation or re-validation
Experience in successful completion of Program IBRs, JSRs and Internal Surveillances (to include completion of actions items), inclusive of training or coaching Control Account Managers and program teams
Foundational understanding of Program Management processes

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
