About the Position

Belmont Medical Technologies is looking for a passionate individual who is excited to join a mid-sized company to help accelerate growth and contribute to saving patients’ lives. This Global Product Manager / Sr. Global Product Manager has direct project and product line responsibility for the Patient Warming and Cooling Solutions product line, including responsibilities for global downstream marketing and commercialization efforts, as well as upstream portfolio product strategy. This person is an experienced marketer of technical and clinical medical device products and demonstrates strength in franchise management, product development and commercialization, and demonstrates a high level of business acumen. This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Marketing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Upstream Marketing:

Works collaboratively with R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, international sales, quality and other key internal stakeholders to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
Develop long term strategy product portfolio roadmaps for current and future product opportunities.
Conduct market research and perform financial analyses to assess and prioritize product opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.
Develop business case for new product investments (internal and/or M&A).
Gather & organize inputs (e.g. Voice-of-customer) to develop marketing specifications.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements to inform product strategy.
Continuously evaluate and improve product performance based on customer feedback and market trends.

Downstream Marketing:

Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned products (technical & clinical knowledge).
Champion product commercialization activities across multiple functions such as R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, quality, sales, etc.
Create innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs and tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales Team. Spends time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, as well as build relationships with key physicians.
Proactively manage digital marketing aspects of temperature management portfolio in collaboration with digital marketing staff.
Develop and lead execution of comprehensive competitive response plans.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Conduct product training for sales teams and distribution partners.
Develop forecasts for supply chain as well as overall revenue planning.

Other:

Support ad-hoc projects as needed such as acquisition integration, strategic planning, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical strongly preferred)
Advanced degree (Masters, MBA) preferred
4+ years of medical device product management experience with a proven track record of managing products through the entire life cycle (upstream and downstream)
Capital equipment experience strongly preferred
Temperature management experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Able to function in both a self-motivated and team environment
Comfortable in a changing, fast growth, results-driven environment
Willing to travel up to 30% (international included)
