Medical Device Engineer (Cardiovascular exp req) Description
Our client, in the medical device industry, is looking for an innovative/creative Medical Device Engineer to join their team in Livermore, CA. Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Operations, you will work on simple-to-complex, high visibility/value projects with a focus on supporting production, including but not limited to compliance, procedure development, equipment maintenance, organization, etc. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment within the medical device industry, a focus on cardiovascular is a huge plus. To be successful, you must be able to analyze production data and implement process improvements. Medical Device Engineer (Cardiovascular exp req) Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical resource for production operations
- Assist or lead production activities
- Develop processes and/or workflows
- Setup workstations, tools, equipment, and material handling systems
- Create, review, and approve equipment qualification protocols
- Perform data analysis, evaluate results, form conclusions
- Contribute to design, process, or documentation improvements
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
- Maintain oversight of other facilities/utilities-related activities
- Identify opportunities for new technology and drive continuous improvement
- Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS)
- Assist in training personnel in manufacturing processes and facilities
Medical Device Engineer (Cardiovascular exp req) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 1+ years of engineering experience required
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience required
- Medical Devices or related high-precision manufacturing experience required
- Good working knowledge of tooling design required
- Working knowledge of analytical tools and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) required
