Inventory Control Specialist
We are looking for a competent Inventory Control Specialist to monitor and report on the company’s inventory. Your job is important since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals. A successful inventory specialist is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Main Objective: Working with the procurement and manufacturing team to maintain inventory and resolve problems that may arise. Performs aspects of purchasing for the company’s raw materials and managing the inventory, distribution, and control of those items for all company locations. Evaluating inventory levels and drive initiatives to reduce stock levels while increasing inventory turns. Demonstrating creative problem solving in investigating inventory variance and determining root cause analysis. Working in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
· Work with the Director of Procurement and Manufacturing Manager to determine purchasing needs and requirements for production
· Perform purchasing functions, such as issuing purchase orders (POs), pricing verification, and delivery
· Inbound monitoring of PO discrepancies
· Manages inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, and that inventory levels are replenished in a timely manner
· Coordination with various departments to ensure materials are physically received for production and systematically transferred in a timely manner is required
· Conduct daily inventory of raw material loss
· Maintain, Identify, and resolve all issues related to product quality, utilization, and loss
· Perform inventory cycle counts, spot counts and month end reconciliation process, research any variances of raw materials
· Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
· Regularly present information about inventory to Manufacturing Manager and procurement team
· Investigating inventory discrepancies and developing solutions to address the causes for the discrepancies is expected
· Work with Operation Manager to ensure proper and physical disposal of aged, obsolete, and rejected product per industry standards
· Ensure all policies and procedures are appropriately followed
· Maintain and follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to produce a product of required quality within the time-frame of customer requirements

· Must have the ability to perform tasks by reading, understanding, and following work instructions/documents provided
