Essential Functions:
- Elevate TrueSense Marketing’s integrated strategy practice by serving as the leading expert in analytics, driving client success through data-driven insights, and sharing knowledge across the organization.
- Serve as the senior leader overseeing all analytics functions, including data science, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration among these critical areas.
- Participate in new business development presentations to prospective clients and present analytics content regularly to existing clients.
- Guide the analytics team along a well-defined maturity model, accurately benchmarking the current state and articulating a clear, ambitious vision for the future that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Serve as a hands-on functional leader, actively engaging in analysis and modeling while creating an environment that empowers others to do the same, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, econometrics, or a related field like Marketing or Social Science, with a strong record of academic achievement.
- At least 20 years of progressively responsible experience in analytics or a closely related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact insights and driving measurable business outcomes. Heavy data analysis and a focus on direct-response marketing are preferred.
- Familiarity with donor evaluation frameworks, CRM technologies, and nonprofit industry trends is a strong plus.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to see the big picture and connect analytics initiatives to broader organizational goals.
- Deep, expert-level proficiency in a wide range of business intelligence tools, programming languages, and software platforms, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Writer/Reader, Tableau, and Google Analytics with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies as needed.
- Extensive leadership and management experience (10+ years) working with and mentoring diverse, high-performing teams across multiple disciplines and functions, with a talent for bringing out the best in others and fostering collaboration.
- Significant experience in the nonprofit fundraising sector or with agency-side analytics is strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of this space's unique challenges and opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with a wide range of audiences.
