The Chanan Foundation is a non-profit care provider for adults with Special Needs located in Douglas and Paulding Counties. We are currently looking for experienced DSPs and CNAs to fill roles in the Residential department of our organization. The right candidates will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have both full-time openings and part-time openings for weekend positions.
Available Full-Time Shift:
Saturday at 10am until Sunday at 10pm (36 straight hours)
This is a Full-Time Weekend position working EVERY Saturday and Sunday. The shift begins at 10am Saturday and you will stay on shift throughout the day, overnight Saturday, and all day Sunday until 10pm.
Available Part-Time Shift:
- Saturday 10am-10pm
- Sunday 10am-10pm
- Saturday 8am-8pm
- Sunday 8am-8pm
This is a Part-Time Weekend position working EVERY Saturday and Sunday.

Duties:
- Provide supervision and guidance during skill building activities
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans for residents
- Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene
- Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship
- Update individual case notes on a daily basis
- Engage individual with the community
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school or college diploma required
- Valid Georgia Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug test at time of interview
- 2+ years’ experience providing direct care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Must have current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
Salary: $12.60/hr with a raise given at 6 months and at 1 year of employment.
