Position Overview:
As a Counselor at Prodigy Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to our clients, many of whom are court-ordered to attend. This position involves conducting intakes/screenings, facilitating group therapy sessions, and conducting individual counseling sessions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Intakes/Screenings:
- Conduct comprehensive intakes and screenings to assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans that adhere to court program requirements.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective coordination of care.
2. Group Therapy Facilitation:
- Plan and conduct engaging group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Adhere to established group rules and guidelines.
3. Individual Counseling Sessions:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions to address clients' specific needs and support their recovery journey.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client goals.
4. Fee Management:
- Share the enthusiasm for maintaining the integrity of our fee structure.
- Work collaboratively with clients to explore available resources and options for meeting financial obligations.
5. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including intakes, group sessions, and individual counseling sessions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in the state of Arizona.
- 3 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
