Purpose for the Position:
To provide the Executive Team and other management with accurate, timely, and relevant financial data with which to manage the business.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ø Oversees accounting processes to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, auditing, general accounting, and cashiers.
Ø Plans and implements financial procedures and processes and reviews with leadership team and other accounting personnel.
Ø New leader onboarding training on accounting software.
Ø Assist with purchasing activities as needed.
Ø Review corporate credit card to ensure compliance with policies.
Ø Assist preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Ø Assists in preparation of bank reconciliations
Ø Reviews and submits local and state occupancy and sales tax forms.
Ø Maintain complete and accurate files in order to handle vendor inquiries.
Ø Reconcile vendor statements and solve any discrepancies.
Ø Reviews and submits LBW tax forms.
Ø Review and confirm cash and check deposits.
Ø Assist in payment and processing of Form 1099’s.
Ø Processes journal entries for hotel entities.
Ø Plays a key role in onboarding and offboarding new assets.
Ø Additional duties as assigned by Executive Team.
Skills and Abilities:
Ø Understand and use hotel accounting concepts to prepare monthly financial reports.
Ø Work math problems quickly and accurately.
Ø Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ø Speak and write clearly to report financial information.
Ø Plan and direct the work of accounting clerks and other workers.

Pay: $71,088.00 - $75,315.00 per year
