Job Description
The Human Resources Manager is a key role on the Global Steel Division HR Team. This role will support our global steel commercial and engineering functions, which encompasses our global sales force, product management, customer care, and business development teams. In close partnership with our regional HR leaders around the world, the HR Manager will be responsible for supporting associates at all levels to drive positive people outcomes aligned to our strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):

Partner with business leaders and regional HR partners to drive high-quality, value-added HR processes (i.e., performance management, goal setting, merit & bonus planning)

Serve as a trusted advisor to associates at all levels within the organization on HR-related matters

Partner with Organization & Talent Development Leader to identify opportunities to drive engagement, using data from global engagement surveys, and assisting leaders to create & implement action plans

Participate in annual Talent Review process, and ensure identified follow ups are put into action

Partner with the Finance team to administer and manage WireCo’s Global Sales Incentive Program to maximize the full benefit in driving strategic business goals

Ensure constant alignment with fellow Steel HR Team with regards to organizational changes, key open roles, critical talent, and other important employee life cycle events

Serve as point-of-contact for WireCo associates who are employed through a 3rd party employer-of-record due to geographic location; ensuring a seamless experience and addressing any administrative concerns

Partner with Talent Acquisition and lead the efforts for assigned teams, aligned to the Steel organization’s workforce plan

Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conducting thorough and objective investigations
-
Maintain in-depth understanding of legal requirements throughout employee lifecycle; identifying potential risks and ensuring 100% compliance

Identify training or individual development needs, and serve as a coach for assigned functions

Provide guidance and project leadership on matters related to organizational design, strategic workforce planning, successional planning, or restructuring

Collaborate with fellow HR colleagues to develop policies, programs, and solutions

Partner with external vendors to manage strategy and delivery of Sales Development Training

Lead and/or participate in department projects and initiatives as deemed necessary, with a strong focus on internal process automation and simplification to enable global HR transformation

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
-
Proven experience (At least 3 years) of HR Management experience, with international client support (non-US) strongly preferred
-
Experience partnering with Commercial/Sales functions, with incentive compensation management experience strongly preferred
-
Knowledge of HR processes and industry best practices
-
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, coaching, communication and consulting skills
-
Self-starter with strong results orientation and success in moving business toward long-term goals

Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands on and drive projects to completion
-
Strong project management skills
-
Proven experience in building strong consultative partnerships with diverse people across multiple functions and locations. Must be a strong team player and collaborator.
