Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to manage our reefer and dry van fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of our fleet, maintaining high standards of safety, and meeting customer service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Operations: Manage daily operations of the reefer and dry van fleet.
- Maintenance: Oversee maintenance programs to ensure vehicles are serviced, inspected, and repaired on time to minimize downtime.
- Compliance: Ensure all fleet activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and FMCSA standards.
- Safety: Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for drivers and other staff.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for fleet operations, including cost control for fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
- Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with service providers and suppliers for vehicle parts and repairs.
- Data Analysis: Utilize fleet management software to monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of drivers and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in fleet management, preferably with experience in managing reefer and dry van fleets.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of DOT regulations and fleet management best practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
