Parking and Transportation Services at the University of Arizona is seeking an innovative and compassionate leader who will serve as the Parking and Transportation Director of Fleet Services.
The University of Arizona vehicle fleet is being centralized and this position will lead the implementation, modernization, and ongoing management of this complex university service. The purpose of the centralization is to ensure that the University's vehicle fleet is efficient, safe, cost-effective, and aligned with the university's core values. The University fleet includes 1200+ vehicles, ranging from golf carts, passenger vehicles, buses and motorcycles and includes the daily rental fleet, a fueling island, car wash, and maintenance garage.
Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) has approximately $20,000,000 in annual revenues and over 150 employees. PTS does not receive outside funding, as it is a fully self-supporting auxiliary enterprise. PTS currently manages Cat Tran shuttle services and has over 18,000 parking spaces on and off campus. The department also manages 10 parking garages. PTS' mantra is that it exists in order to make everyone else on campus successful and, as such, has a multitude of programs that are here to support the campus needs.
