In this role, you would be responsible for providing quality service to internal and external customers. Serves as the first point of contact for customers by providing accurate quotations, ensuring the information given is correct and satisfies the customer's needs. Responsible for organizing and scheduling shipments for customers and is responsible for transferring information to the Company’s internal system and distributing revenue based on agreements and contracts.
Communicates with internal and external customers primarily through phone and email. Utilizes a variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, research and review policies, and communicate effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Prepares accurate quotes for customers and builds estimates for potential shipments. Handles the scheduling of shipments and provides the customer with pickup and delivery details to include transit times. Accurately transfers data from invoices to the internal system and accurately prorates the revenue based on agreements and contracts. Learns and utilizes the National Motor Freight Classification. All Southeastern Freight Lines associates must embrace and support the five values that define the Company’s culture and be personally committed to the Quality Improvement Process. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
For this role, you would need to have a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate Degree is preferred, We would like for you to have previous customer service experience.
