Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the efficient functioning of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and managing files, both electronic and physical
- Provide basic first aid assistance when needed
- Collaborate with social work professionals to support clients
- Maintain certificates and documentation up-to-date
- Support in medication administration under supervision
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Assist in crisis intervention situations
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Contribute to home and community care initiatives
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus
Requirements:
- Proven experience or interest in social work or related field
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Certification in relevant areas such as first aid or medication administration is preferred
