Digital Marketing Specialist
Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the digital marketing functions for Certus Living and Certus Living managed communities. This position oversees and manages the digital marketing efforts of Certus Living communities including online presence/reputation, managing websites, social media platforms, and digital advertising campaigns, digital lead generation, and campaign analytics oversite and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to meet the organization's goals.
- Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on those insights.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Content Creation and Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Create and manage content across various platforms (blog posts, social media updates, emails, etc.).
- SEO and SEM:
- Perform ongoing keyword research and discovery, expansion, and optimization.
- Develop and implement link building strategies.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
- Social Media Management:
- Manage and optimize the company's social media presence across all platforms.
- Engage with audiences on social media to foster community and customer loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Use web analytics tools to track and report on key metrics (Google Analytics, etc.).
- Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and overall digital marketing efforts.
- Paid Advertising:
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Email Marketing:
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of email marketing efforts.
- CRM and Marketing Automation:
- Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation tools.
- Implement and optimize marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and engage customers.
- Reputation Management and Online Reviews:
· Monitor and manage the company's online reputation across review sites, social media, and other digital platforms.
· Respond to customer reviews and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
· Develop strategies to encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews and manage negative feedback to mitigate potential damage to the brand.
· Analyze online reviews and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement in customer service and product offerings.
Essential Duties
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor strategies.
- Analyze and interpret data to make informed marketing decisions.
- Collaboration:
- Work with graphic designers, copywriters, and other marketing professionals to produce high-quality content.
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales goals.
- Budget Management:
- Allocate and manage the marketing budget across various channels and campaigns.
- Ensure that all campaigns stay within budget and deliver a positive ROI.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Maintain a working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Hootsuite).
- Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Optimization:
- Continuously optimize marketing activities to improve performance and efficiency.
- A/B test different elements of marketing campaigns to identify the most effective strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Creativity: Ability to generate creative ideas and innovative marketing strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
