**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
Must be available for clinic in office every Wednesday
- Perform nursing assessments upon admission/introduction to the program and update as necessary to document progress and challenges.
- Collect vital signs and specimens, including urine, saliva, and blood, for specific testing.
- Conduct AIM assessments for all clients on anti-psychotic medications and update quarterly.
- Provide psycho-education on mental illness, physical health issues, and the potential benefits and side effects of prescribed medications.
- Conduct symptom checkups and manage efforts to help clients identify/target the symptoms and occurrence patterns of their mental illness, developing methods to lessen the effects.
- Support clients using interpersonal skills, both planned and as-needed, to help them achieve personal goals, cope with daily stressors, and recover.
- Offer psycho-education activities, either individually or in groups, teaching behavioral symptom management techniques to alleviate symptoms not reduced by medication and/or adaptation/coping techniques for stresses.
- Administer medications to clients as prescribed and document accordingly, adhering to state guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Psychiatrist, Clinical Director, and assigned clinic team members on assessments, treatment planning, medication issues, general healthcare, medical and psychosocial approaches, and client progress reviews.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable practice standards and guidelines.
- Ensure client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements at all times.
- Complete all required documentation in the EMR System promptly, adhering to agency guidelines to track client progress.
- Must Come with certifications required for employment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.30 - $45.00 per hour
