Balance Autism is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Adult Services team! This leader plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates resource and quality management services, departments, and programs; such as Quality Assurance, Utilization Review, Infection Control, Case Management, and Admissions.
What You'll Do:

Promote and communicate Balance Autism’s mission, vision and core values in interactions with others(person served, staff, families, legal guardians, business contacts, members of the community, and governmental agencies) to ensure excellent education and outreach.

Ensures the health, safety and compliance requirements for the person served are met.

Assists in areas related to quality management such as methods of data collection, outcome performance measures, chart review procedures, case analysis methods, and critical pathways analysis for outstanding data-driven decisions.

Works collaboratively with Certified Medication Aides and other Nursing staff. Works collaboratively with DMACC,SWCC and other leaders to schedule prospective CMA’s in Certified Medication Aide classes. Provides proper training, shadowing, and monitoring of AAs and Certified Medication Aides for excellent healthcare outcomes.

Requirements:

2 year college or university program certificate with three years of clinical nursing experience; or Bachelor degree with one year related experience in all disciplines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
