Field Service/Production Technician position available in Cartersville, GA. Position will require domestic travel within the United States and international travel once fully trained and experienced.
Ryeco, LLC is an international manufacturer and service provider for industrial systems designed to reduce waste, improve product quality, and create a safer work environment. Product lines consist of various types of spray marking equipment, sheet break detection sensors, spray mark detection systems, and reel turn-up systems. Ryeco’s customers cross industry lines, producing a wide variety of rolled products.
Field Service/Production Technicians are expected to travel up to three (3) weeks out of the month. When in the office, the Technician will work in the Production department / Support department, assembling, repairing, and testing Ryeco products. Field work consists of travel to various industrial facilities to install, service, and maintain Ryeco equipment.

Details:
· Salary: Technicians will begin as hourly employees at a rate of $24 / hour. After 90 days of training alongside an experienced Technician, new Technicians will then transition into a salaried role at $55,000 / year with opportunities for increases based on merit.
· Per Diem Allowance: Technicians will be given an allowance of up to $60 / day for meal expenses when traveling domestically and up to $84 / day when traveling internationally.

Position Requirements:
· High-school diploma or GED
· Driver’s license
· Ability to obtain a passport
· 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment performing electro-mechanical jobs
· Professional attitude while traveling and interacting with customers
· Ability to work independently, in a group setting, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems
· Ability to clearly communicate with customers and quickly adjust to changes in a customers’ needs
· Ability to answer calls from customers after hours, to assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment
Technician will develop key skills in the following areas:
· Electrical competency for low voltage applications
· Mechanical aptitude
· Troubleshooting skills
· Self-managing while traveling
· Commissioning and servicing of Ryeco systems
· Organizing travel plans including plane ticket, hotel rooms, and rental cars
· Completing onsite or online training required by the customer for onsite work
· Traveling to customer’s location within the U.S. and internationally
· Developing organizational skills such as coordinating resources and customers’ schedules
· Working onsite, including mechanical, electrical and/or pneumatic tasks
· Writing field service reports in Microsoft Word and filling out expense reports using Microsoft Excel
· Recommending and selling the purchase of additional Ryeco equipment, spare parts, and upgrades to the customer
· Communicating with customers to provide them with status updates and follow-up activities
· Training customer personnel on the operation and maintenance of Ryeco’s equipment
· Develop understanding of basic electric and pneumatic components such as: pressure regulators, solenoids, PLCs, relays, various sensors (UV color, photo-electric, etc.), and motors
· Voltmeter skills, AC/DC voltage, continuity and resistance
