You would be working with a teenage male who has autism and can be aggressive. RBT license and/or ABA Therapy experience required. Minimal hours per week, located in Shelby Twp.
In this case you would be Mentoring; assuming a positive leadership role and example through teaching, coaching, guiding, reminding, demonstrating, and redirecting your mentee. * Implement Person Centered Planning and Behavioral Planning guidelines and protocols. * Communicate effectively to all assigned team members including but not limited to case managers, probation officers, family trainers, or therapists, reporting progress, challenges, incidents, violations, or concerns on a routine basis. * Providing insight into the treatment plan; feedback for areas involving growth, regression, trainings, etc. * Responding to emergency situations including behavioral escalations or medical emergencies as set forth by agency guidelines and treatment plans. * As mandated reporters, you will report any suspected abuse and/or neglect to the proper entities and members per the guidelines set forth. * Assist your assigned youth during community service or volunteer work obligations and endeavors to meet probation requirements. * Always accompany and provide supervision including all community outings to promote socialization, integration, and life skill endeavors.
Most available shifts occur during the evening after school and weekends, however, there is the availability for day-time hours during the summer and other school breaks.

Pay: $16.35 - $19.35 per hour
