Part-Time Position
Scope of Responsibility: The Department Assistant/Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for assisting the HRIS/Benefits Coordinator with benefit-related administrative tasks and projects while upholding confidentiality.
Essential Duties:
- Process health insurance invoices for all carriers and resolve discrepancies
- Track completed employee incentives and process payment to their FSA/HSA accounts
- Perform monthly reconciliation between UKG and Wex and resolve discrepancies
- Review and input confidential employee health insurance information in UKG for data integrity
- Monitor health insurance arrears for employees out on FMLA/LOA
- Update Sabre’s Intranet as needed
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma required
- Experience: 1 year Employee health insurance experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of UKG software highly preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be detail-oriented

- Demonstrated ability to work with frequent interruptions in workflow and constantly changing priorities.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with the ability to move throughout the office.
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands and arms, such as sitting, typing, using office equipment and reaching. Some additional physical activities may require walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
- Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual.
- Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing as well as answer
- telephones and greet customers.
