We are seeking experienced House Managers to work with foster children in our group homes located off the 303 and Waddell. As House Manager, you will provide daily care, transportation, enrichment activities, and emotional support to the children. Children in this home have significant behaviors; including trauma, going AWOL (Absent without leave) refusing school meals, chores, etc..
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, productive, pleasant, and joyful environment for children living within SRH group homes.
- Implement, monitor, and document the daily schedule, interactions, and positive behavioral management techniques.
- Facilitate therapeutic, recreational, and social skills.
- Manage and supervise staff and resources.
- Adhere to agency standards of practice for clients, staff, and the public.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (College Degree Preferred).
- 3 years of experience working with children or 6 months experience working with children and post-high school education in social work or related field.
- Experience working with group home or shelters
- Supervisory experience, preferably as a group home or program manager.
- Valid Arizona driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- On-call 24/7 to provide support to staff and clients.
Qualifications:
- Ability to drive with valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record.
- Active and valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Level One).
- 3 years of verifiable experience working with children or a college degree in psychology, social work, education, child & family development or counseling.
Working hours:
- Monday through Friday from 6am to 4:30 pm.
- On-call 24/7 to provide support to staff and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
