Job Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a Senior Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical testing and specimen conditioning (HT) in accordance with company goals, quality system, and test procedures/methods.
- Provide technical support for quotation and pricing.
- Aid in writing, review and development of procedures for testing and/or sample preparation.
- Use calibrated hand tools such as micrometer, caliper, compass, and ruler to take measurements and record them into the test records.
- Ensure that all equipment (standards) used for performing tests are calibrated prior to use. Record and maintain maintenance history of the lab equipment.
- Communicate any issues (safety, product flow, equipment, etc.) to management and mechanical test team members.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S and Operational Excellence.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required in Materials testing, interpreting testing procedures and customer specifications.
- Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed
- Advanced ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required in accordance with customer specifications.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
