The Sr Brand Manager is an integral member of the marketing team accountable for overall brand direction, omnichannel marketing plan, customer and category leadership and analytical support.
This role blends strategic leadership and execution to bring to life our short-term and long-term brand goals. This role has a direct report with opportunity for growth- reports to the Head of Marketing.
Brand Direction
· Manage creative strategy and align leadership team on the vision and brand execution plan
· Lead large-scale creative production process with outside agencies to effectively communicate the brand vision
· Liaise with and direct PR firm on strategic plan and tactics
Retail & Omnichannel Strategy
- Develop annual integrated media plan and manage marketing fund allocation
- Liaise with and direct media buying and PR partners by providing brand vision and consumers insights
- Create marketing calendar in collaboration with community team and execute paid digital plan
- Provide category leadership by partnering with sales for key customers, attending meetings/trade shows as needed and presenting brand plan
- Support retail partners and sales team with effective customer marketing campaigns
Research & Analysis
- Actively manage and adjust paid advertising tactics to drive efficiency
- Track ongoing consumer research and recommend new studies to uncover, validate and leverage consumer or brand insights. Work with Innovation/Product teams to identify new marketplace and consumer trends and recommend actions.
- Partner with Innovation/Product team on product portfolio innovation/renovation plan and product research insights
Organizational Development
- Provide work support and guidance to marketing team members.
- Nurture a collaborative and consumer-oriented culture within and across departments.
- Be a visible champion of the brand and consumer, helping the culture to become more brand driven and consumer centric.
Required Competencies
- Track record of success leading consumer packaged goods brands.

Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year degree- MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally in the CPG and/or food industry. At least 3 years of brand management experience required.
- Experience with external agencies to develop outstanding communications and creative.
- Experience in digital marketing, including success in digital channels.
- Experience managing people.
- Must live in SF Bay Area; 2 in office days required.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
