We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing – ICF Intercare to oversee our nursing team and ensure the highest quality of compassionate care for our clients with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in disability care and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and mentor ICF Nurse Service Managers, Staff Nurses, Certified Medication Aids (CMAs) and CMA Educator.
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and advocate for client needs.
· Work in partnership with the Director of Nursing ICF Intercare Division Directors and other appropriate entities to develop and update nursing policies, procedures, processes, guidelines and practices to meet the health care needs of individuals receiving services.
· Assist in the interpretation and implementation of ICF/IID standards. Ensures compliance with Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy, Division of Health Improvement and other regulatory organizations. Maintains ARCA’s integrity through the implementation of sound, quality programs and services.
Qualifications:
· Current RN license in the state of New Mexico. CDDN credentials preferred.
· Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience required; community-based nursing experience with individuals with IDCD .
· Must have a demonstrated interest in the needs of persons who have developmental disabilities and be willing to continue learning in this field.
· Minimum of 4 years’ administrative/management experience, including: supervision, financial management and program management required; previous CMA program administration preferred.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience working in a non-profit is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
