Job Title: Accountant
Job Summary:
Bright Star Auctions is seeking a motivated Accountant for our Finance Team. If you have honesty and integrity, experience in Accounting, the ability to multi-task and work well with people and have a drive to excel, we want you!
Duties:
- Make QuickBooks entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Generate seller payments
- Settle auctions
- Complete payroll
- Research equipment liens
- File sales tax for multiple states
- Field customer questions
- Work on a team
Experience:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- QuickBooks experience is a plus.
