The Functional Business Analyst is a key strategic technology partner within the Information Technology Department whose core duties are based on skills analysis, team performance, projects and reporting in correlation with business objectives of the department. This business technology professional will seek to leverage new and existing technologies to enhance the skills of CSWI employees as well as adopt best practices for training, development, processes, procedures and analysis. This will enable the IT team to utilize current as well as legacy technologies for our clients. This highly skilled performance change agent will assist in developing team and individual skills to align with business strategies and solutions to meet business objectives. This person must be able to work in conjunction with various internal organizations to expedite business needs for the company. The position will require a person with a solid business background within reporting, human capital, analytics, process and procedure, financial, communication and technology environments. This highly skilled individual will service various internal IT items and will capitalize on their experience in multiple areas, but none more pressing than communicating with the IT Team on a daily basis. This is remote position, and the individual will need to reside in the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Review existing processes, explore options, implement and support technology-based solutions
- Reviews the actual business process in place, models and documents the entire workflow
- Provides a list of options that would increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve transparency
- Creates user documentation
- Business process modeling
- Plan, develop, and provide technical training and technical staff development programs
- Training in both business process and the software options
- Experience with business, development, and technology methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ business and consultative experience with a focus on JD Edwards implementations
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience implementing and leading business programs, processes, and analysis with a focus on the JDE manufacturing and shop floor transactional functions associated with discrete and batch processing as well as “made to inventory” and “made to order” requirements. Understanding required for bill of materials structures, work order and routing managing, production planning and scheduling.
- Experience with Training, Performance Analysis, Internal Communication, Vendor Negotiations, Contracts
- Experience Delivering Systematic and Analytical Reviews for leadership
- Must reside in Continental US
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience Required

Work Environment
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to a warehouse environment and will be required to wear appropriate PPE.
