ScribeConcepts is looking for a Curriculum Content Manager that will report to the Director of Content and assist in the development of products and services related to curriculum and other educational publications.
They will oversee the management, execution, and delivery of curriculum products from inception to completion. This includes conceptualizing product details, aligning them with client needs, and crafting essential documents, such as unit maps, assessments, pacing guides, lesson plans, student materials, decodable texts, and product overviews. The Content Manager will collaborate with project managers, editors, graphic designers, and production artists to realize a product in its entirety. Regular check-ins and strategy meetings with consultants and clients will be conducted to ensure project alignment and prompt issue resolution.
The Content Manager will assist in the management and training of writing teams, providing regular mentorship to foster professional growth. They will vet, interview, and onboard new freelancers, ensuring seamless integration into the team. Interaction with consultants will include assigning tasks and ensuring consistent communication and quality control.
Additional tasks may include: assisting the Business Development Director in reaching out to potential clients and pitching ScribeConcepts's services; attending education conferences to expand ScribeConcepts's network, and submitting bids on RFPs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in an education-related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in content development for educational publishing.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading teams.

Compensation range: $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
