ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Champion the DaVita Mission and Values both internally and externally
· Review, analyze, resolve, and trend for complex claims issues
· Perform quality assurance and remediation for insurance coverage updates and cash allocation
· Secure payments for complex claims and contribute to revenue protection strategy
· Navigate complex insurance systems, contracts, networks, and relationships
· Provide project support through data analysis, process evaluation, and process re-design
· Assist with the execution of strategic initiatives and establish long-term collections with payers
· Provide insights on business outcomes
· Perform deep dive analysis to understand business drivers
· Participate as a hands-on project specialist and provide thought partnership to improve processes
· Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure project output is impactful across all business lanes
· Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meets expectations of deadlines, and carries out assignments to completion while maintaining a positive attitude
· Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies
· Consistent and punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
Qualifications:
· Required:
o Highschool Diploma or equivalent (required)
o Strong experience with coordinating insurance benefits and determining insurance relationships
o Excellent root cause analysis skills
o Effective communication skills
o Self-starter who will thrive in a collaborative environment where all members are hands-on and have a voice in business decisions
· Preferred:
o Associates or Bachelor's degree
o Ability to synthesize knowledge from past projects and employ new initiatives
o Passionate about clean claims and the right revenue
o Strong decision-making skills
o Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
