Sales Internship

As a Sales Intern, you will be part of a team responsible for all customer facing, business generating activities.
Ensinger processes high performance engineering plastics in our manufacturing facility at our North American headquarters in North Strabane Township. Serving a growing market for engineering plastics, Ensinger combines our processing and extrusion expertise with a deep knowledge of high performance polymers and applications. Used in a broad spectrum of industries, our products provide our customers with a variety of options as they push the envelope in innovation and part design.
The Experience
The Sales Internship is a part-time (fall/spring academic term), with the opportunity for a full-time position, completing projects designed to advance the company’s value proposition and provide meaningful experience in the following areas:
Customer Service
Marketing
Territory Management (outside sales)
Technical Support/Training
Product Management
Laboratory/Product Testing/Compliance
Industry Segment Management
The internship is a position providing more in-depth projects, with even deeper learning opportunities into the same targeted areas. Students will learn about products, markets, sales and marketing strategies, as well as training and technical support activities which are essential for a successful career in sales.
Interns will have an additional opportunity to learn broader business topics within Ensinger which may include visits to other domestic Ensinger and customer locations or events. Successful interns may be considered for full-time job offers upon graduation, depending upon company requirements and economic factors.
Qualifications
· Two years undergraduate study in business or a technical discipline
· Desire to pursue a sales-related career
· Minimum GPA of 3.0
· Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Availability to work a minimum of 9 hours/week during the semester at Ensinger’s office in North Strabane Township (Washington County)
