Job Summary:
The Division/Account Manager is responsible for soliciting new business opportunities in order to meet sales objectives and profitability of the division while managing current customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, this individual will oversee all office functions and communication and delegation of crews.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delegate tasks to Account Managers, Office Manager, and Crew Leaders
- Developing accurate estimates for new and existing clients, maintaining acceptable gross margins that support the divisions financial goals
- Analyze new proposal with the Business Development Manager
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the site office and yard
- Oversee the maintenance of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and proper use
- Coordinate daily equipment and crews
- Oversee the efficiency and quality management of customer accounts to ensure client satisfaction at the highest level
- Maintain the highest standard of quality at all job sites
- Travel to job sites to ensure a full understanding of location and scope of work under contracts
- Operate all equipment necessary to complete any job
- Maintain and ensure annual pesticide training is up-to-date and compliant
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Lead and execute leadership skills for all staff and aspects of the division
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Working knowledge of relevant software, Sage 100 preferred
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience with an organization, the landscaping industry preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
- Valid California Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequently squat bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach forward and overhead, and push/pull items such as desks, tables or chairs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Endure labor intensive work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
