Job Summary
This position involves providing technical assistance to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software applications throughout the organization. To be successful in this role, the IT Support Technician, I will need to handle a variety of tickets in a timely manner while communicating clearly with the end user. Work with Edge Networks to provide a high quality of support.
Essential Functions:
· Utilize existing knowledge and experience to provide technical support to colleagues via phone, email, and in person, primarily focusing on hardware-related issues.
· Apply expertise to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
· Use understanding of operating systems to assist with hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance.
· Leverage skills to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of hardware systems, including diagnosing and repairing hardware failures.
· Collaborate with IT team members to address complex hardware-related issues and contribute to hardware-related projects and initiatives.
· Document hardware-related procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing, drawing from best practices.
· Have basic knowledge of all sales systems we currently operate (Siriusware, toast, square, etc.)
· Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff on a daily basis.
· Other duties as requested by Manager, Senior Team, or VP/GM
Requirements:
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency in providing technical support in your current role.
· Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve hardware and software issues.
· Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS (ipads)).
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
