What does IFPC need?
We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Sales Trainee. This position would require for an individual to live in St. Louis for the first year. After the first year of training this would become a remote position in the Pacific Northwest.
The purpose of the Sales Trainee is for you to learn about the essential operations of IFPC, including the essential sales functions of an IFPC salesperson. The training program will last 6 months and will focus on sales training, IFPC business operations training that includes a rotation through the various non-sales departments like Customer Service, Purchasing, Traffic, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales Support, and IT&A. After the first 6 months you will be given some accounts in your territory of the Pacific Northwest. You will be trained on how to handle those accounts while still in St. Louis. After a year of training, you will be a remote employee in your territory.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Possess self-confidence and a good presence (likable)
- Coachable – We need someone willing and able to learn
- Must be responsible and have self-accountability
- Strong Follow up skills
- Can gets commitments/decisions from people
- Good Communicator- This person can listen, ask questions, have good written and verbal skills
- College Degree- Recent college graduate
Salary:
- $45,000 plus housing
- Upon completion of the 6-month training program you will receive a $500 per month guaranteed commission for 1 year. However, a successful sales trainee has the potential to make more than $500 per month in commission.
- Base salary increase after completion of one year training program.
- Housing included while in St. Louis for first year of training program.
- Moving per diem included.
