Make a Difference
The EKG Technician will be responsible for:
- Performing all types of EKGs
- EKG editing, storage, and retrieval through the appropriate computer system
- Assisting with charging process for the Allied Health Department
Your exceptional skills and qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Familiarity with various types of EKGs
- Must demonstrate effective communication, orally and in written format
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Some computer skills helpful
- Recognize effect of various conditions and ages on interpretation of EKGs
- Deal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintaining emotional control
- Previous experience in healthcare required
- Some experience performing EKGs is preferred
