The IT Support Systems Specialist is responsible for the Linux and Windows servers and operating systems configuration, management, and troubleshooting. This role will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware components, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and effectively. The IT Support Systems Specialist may assist in installation, backup, maintenance, or general support of TruBridge’s systems.

Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:
- Responsible for generation of purchase orders, receiving documentation, specifying equipment vendors and on-going effectiveness and recordkeeping.
- Linux OS: File system structure, archive, OS standard practices, system restore procedures.
- Servers: Build, PrintRTF, VSS, Scalable, Troubleshooting, HIS, D2D, IMS, PrintRTF
- Storage: DS3xxx, Onsite firmware updates, Onsite battery replacement, Hand carve volume & file system. configuration
- Virtual Server builds
- May be on call.
- Emergency trips with some travel
- Shipping and Receiving
- Warehouse fill-in as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience/Certification Requirements
- Associates (2 year degree) or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
- Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Linux/Windows Operating systems.
- Versed in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word)
- Versed in Server technology, Networking, and Hardware components.
Working Environment:
- General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
- Periods of stress may occur.
Physical Demands:
- Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
- Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.
