We are looking for a Third-Party Hardware Technical Project Manager who will lead and influence your cross-functional teams and stakeholders to chart a new path for our intelligent devices’ ecosystem.
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30022 - hybrid
Position: Third-Party Hardware Technical Project Manager
Pay: $50-56/hr. on W2 depending on years of experience
Duration: 12 months or longer
Note: Hybrid in office 8 days a month, usually Tues and Wed but exact days will depend on project needs
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical program scope (hardware/software) of multiple scale, strategic and maintenance projects through advanced project planning
- Create and maintain timelines/schedule w/ major milestones & dates for project activities.
- Clarify team roles and responsibilities through techniques such a RAID, RAPID or similar
- Communicate project status, interdependencies, and impacts to all relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate team level ceremonies & delivery practices while removing impediments to the team's success and resolving conflict within the team.
- Drive project delivery through requirements management, prototyping, building, validation and delivery to market
- Work with the team to ensure that the Kanban board is kept up=to-date and that all in-process activities are tracked and followed up.
Must Have Skills:
- 7+ years of professional experience in managing complex projects in technical product development
- Experience in Hardware, IoT / industrial devices, device, or firmware development is a must have
- Background in vehicle electronics, especially diagnostics, is a plus.
- Engineering degree e.g., ME/ CE/EE or CS or related disciplines are plus.
- PMP preferred and MBA is a plus.
- Experience leading multiple teams and partners to deliver complex & high stakes projects
- Experience in lean product development and demonstrated ability to lead hardware and software development processes.
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to operate in a highly matrixed, globally distributed, fully remote organization & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
