Manager Position- facilitate, interacts, oversees administrative components of the day program on behalf of the Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and the staff who implement the programs. Deal with the budgeted hours, goals and implement all daily oversight of the scheduling and communication for the day to day that is necessary for the functionality of the many facets of the day program. Recruitment, training and development may be a portion, planning and directing staff in meaningful and directed through Person Centered Planning expectations. Compliance of DDS expectations, guidelines licensing, policy and all compliance regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage and offer IDD in various recreational activities and games
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to IDD throughout their lives via IP driven
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all IDD at all times- and directing Staff oversight and follow through
- Plan and lead interactive group activities, including arts and crafts, sports, and nature exploration
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for IDD to learn, grow, and have fun
- Assist in organizing special events, field trips, and various IP activities-assuring staff follow through
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the group home facilities
Requirements: General Leadership and proven methods for implementation:
- Experience in Adult living, various programs, or related fields is advantageous
- Knowledge of IDD development principles and behavior management techniques
- Ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for IDD of all backgrounds
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (We Train)
- Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, nature exploration, and adventure
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude towards working with people of IDD
