About Our Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong service, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills to join our dynamic team as a Senior Consumer Loan Officer. The Senior Consumer Loan Officer exercises sound, prudent judgment in all lending decisions and is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and underwriting personal loans, Line of Credit, unsecured loans, credit cards, recreational vehicle loans and direct and indirect auto loans.
The Senior Consumer Loan Officer decisions loans while consistently delivering the highest level of service in an efficient and courteous manner while ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, NCUA and other regulatory agencies' rules and regulations.
The Senior Consumer Loan Officer is trustworthy and able to build collaborative working relationships with Ambassadors and affiliated automobile dealership representatives by resolving member and dealership concerns timely and effectively and by independently working to resolve technical and customer service escalations.

The Senior Consumer Loan Officer role is remote. The incumbent can work remotely from Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Texas, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina.
The incumbent must be able to work a weekly schedule with hours between 8:00 am and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and between 8:00 am and 6:00 PM on Saturdays.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related area preferred.

A minimum of four years consumer loan underwriting experience, including experience in loan interviewing is required. Position requires a working knowledge of consumer loan documentation and lien filing requirements.

Minimum of two years credit analysis experience as an indirect consumer loan underwriter.

Ability to work with all levels of management, credit union staff, and members as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Professional.

Able to be contacted by telephone and able to work weekends and holidays.
