We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workday Business Analyst to join our dedicated HRIS team at the MITRE Corporation. In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in gathering detailed business requirements from business SMEs to support our on-going project-based work. Responsibilities include engaging stakeholders on a regular basis, assessing current needs, determining requirements, developing communications and change plans, and supporting projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities:

Analyze current HR processes and identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.

Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define business needs.
-
Evaluate and recommend HR technology solutions, including enhancements to Workday as well as other platforms related to people data.
-
Act as a bridge between non-technical and technical partners to develop detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
-
Support the management of HR technology projects from initiation through implementation and release.
-
Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting as needed.
-
Collaborate with HR COEs to create and align change management plans with project objectives.
-
Develop change management documentation, including communication materials and training guides.
-
Act as the main point of contact for WalkMe contextual help development.

Stay current with HR technology trends and best practices.
-
Other responsibilities as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Knowledge related to the Workday platform specifically related to HR features and functionality.

Demonstrated success working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate their business requirements into technology solutions.

Proven ability to gather and critically evaluate requirements from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and propose solutions to complex issues.
-
This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Workday configuration experience.
-
JIRA or equivalent issue management experience.
-
Experience with other HR technology platforms.
-
Ability to be flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines.

Proficiency in full MS Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
