UCSF’s Facilities Services is seeking a
Program Analyst to provide administrative operations seasoned professional who oversees the management, planning, and administration of a small to mid-sized organizational unit with limited scope. This role reports to the Custodial Services Associate Director and provides support and analysis to unit superintendents, assistant superintendents, and staff across multiple campuses, including Mission Bay, Parnassus, UCOP, and Fresno. The Program Analyst collaborates with the Custodial Services Associate Director and superintendents in short- and long-term planning, focusing on process and policy development and improvement. They use sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to solve operational challenges, aiming to enhance internal efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Additionally, they serve as a support staff member, collaborating with the AVCIO. In addition to these responsibilities, the Program Analyst acts as the liaison for supply chain management within the General Services Unit for both East and West campuses, compiling quarterly reports on supplies and equipment inventory. Their initiatives align with the company’s mission and goals. The Program Analyst also undertakes project management duties within the Custodial Program, Recycling, and Grounds programs. This involves initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects to achieve specific goals and meet program success criteria within set timeframes. They are accountable for meeting project demands while adhering to program constraints related to scope, time, quality, and budget.
