Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the incumbent performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical and analytical administrative tasks in support of Construction Management. Incumbent will utilize Project Resource and Schedule Management (PRSM), Online Project Information (OPI), Filemaker Pro, Enterprise Datalink, and E-FIS/AMS Advantage systems.

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst certification list is being utilized to recruit for this position. Applicants with Associate Governmental Program Analyst certification list eligibility MUST also meet the minimum qualifications for the Associate Personnel Analyst classification in order to be eligible for an appointment to the Associate Personnel Analyst classification.
This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans’s evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquartered location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Stockton, San Joaquin County.
Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
While at their base of operation, employee will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial lighting, however building temperatures may fluctuate. Employee may also be required to travel on occasion and overtime may be required. Vacation time off may be restricted due to workload issues.
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
