Resolve is looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join its small, growing Engineering team to support our global R&D development goals. The key mission for the interested candidate will be to join the team tasked with designing and delivering a functional, robust, and scalable optical and fluidics system which will be integrated in our next-generation high-performance spatial biology platform.
The interested candidate needs to have a proven track record and experience in designing analog and digital circuitry and automation in a life science product development life cycle. The interested candidate needs to be a team player and can take initiative, while leading and inspiring other members to do their best work.
The role is based out of our East Coast USA R&D site but will need to work effectively with other team members at our other Development sites along with external partners. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Optical & Mechatronics Engineering on a multi-disciplinary Engineering Department. Does the idea of joining a team to engineer a break-through instrument platform that provides the cancer and research community with revolutionary opportunities excite you?
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be joining our Platform & Instrument Development Organization where your talents will be utilized in designing analog and digital circuitry for new designs on cross functional teams. You will be developing instrument systems from concept through detailed design, V&V, design transfer, manufacturing release, product launch, and on-market support. In this role successful candidates will be responsible for:.
-
Design analog and digital circuitry including embedded systems
-
Collaborate among multidisciplinary and provide technical leadership and mentoring for collaborative designs in a small team environment.
-
Provide innovative and potentially patentable design solutions for the system and subsystems to meet the programs goals per the requirements, timeline, and budget.
-
Collaborate with suppliers worldwide to develop complex, reliable solutions, delivering functional parts, components, and sub-systems in a timely manner and meet specs.
-
Understand and drive system and subsystem requirement specifications.
-
Lead concept and detailed designs activities including design reviews.
-
Lead and support new product introduction, engineering test, product qualification, and system integration of Electronics and Control Software (Firmware)
