We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring administrative efficiency, handling clerical tasks, and providing valuable assistance to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and transfer/respond appropriately
- Open and distribute mail
- HR responsibilities include -- health/dental/vision insurance and enrollment, 401K, tracking vacation/sick days and unemployment claims
- Assist in the hiring process including posting ads, reviewing resumes, and scheduling of interviews
- Create and compile miscellaneous invoices from labor/material slips provided
- Order & maintain office supplies
- Employee Background Checks as needed for specific projects/new hires
- Provide general administrative support to team members, including assistance with office supplies management and other ad-hoc tasks as needed
- Ensure a welcoming environment for visitors and clients
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/good computer skills
- Strong organizational and excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks
- Ability to work well with others and be a "team player"
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or related field
