Student research assistants will assist with literature reviews, recruitment of participants within OSUWMC/OSU for research intervention. The student research assistant will support the delivery of program interventions, assist with pre- and post-data collection through in-person and electronic reminders and assist with initial review and analysis of de-identified data. Collaboration on poster presentations and future manuscript development will allow the student to experience the realm of the research process.
Buckeye Paws is an animal-assisted therapy dog program focused on supporting students, staff and faculty well-being. The student research assistant will be responsible for assisting with research efforts relative to evaluating the individual and organizational effects of the Buckeye Paws programs for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) and The Ohio State University (OSU).
Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
