Job Summary
Therapy Austin is seeking a dedicated full-time Clinical Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a team of dynamic clinicians and provide counseling services to a caseload of 10-13 agency-assigned clients. Our Clinical Management Team is composed of a passionate group of seasoned clinicians who embody our agency’s core values, placing a strong emphasis on open and transparent communication at every level. Known for building meaningful connections, our team serves as the first point of contact for a wide range of agency-related employment and clinical support needs. Clinical Managers are key to helping our counselors find their way within our rich clinical community. Clinical Managers also liaise with outside Supervisors and members of all other agency teams to proactively address issues as they arise in support of quality care for our counselors and the clients they serve.

Clinical Manager Responsibilities

Oversees and supports counselor clinical development within the agency’s therapeutic frame

Facilitates the development of each counselor’s individual style and technique and in effective caseload management

Liaises with internal Mentors and external Clinical Supervisors

Collaborates with Human Resources and Operations teams to manage counselor workplace adjustments including accommodations, leaves, and exits

Collaborates with Human Resources and Operations Teams to resolve problems as they arise and ensure delivery of quality client care

Answers support tickets and conducts office hours to provide timely clinical consultation and employment guidance

Sustains familiarity with and follow guidelines of internal Policy & Procedure, New Hire Training, Employment and Mentor Manuals

Leads Mentor Small Group(s)

Attends Leadership Clinical Consultation Group

Fulfills the Essential Duties, Skills, Requirements and Qualifications of Senior Counselor, including exhibiting exceptional clinical insight and demonstrating a strong clinical background in a relationally-based psychotherapy setting

Provides back-up coverage and assistance to the Senior and/or Managing Clinical Director

Execute additional tasks as assigned

Clinical Manager Requirements & Qualifications
-
Master’s Degree and Full License/Certification for independent practice in the state of Texas as LPC, LCSW or LMFT; Supervisor license preferred

Minimum 2 years experience providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy

Minimum 1 year of prior management or similar experience

Ability and desire to supervise and support counselors so they can focus on client care

Highly responsive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks, deadlines and projects at hand

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Self-directed team player who is energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills

40 hour per week commitment; some remote hours allowed
