Customer Service Assistant
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for effectively managing large amounts of incoming calls with excellent communication and presentation skills. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
The Customer Service Assistant is under direct supervision and reports to the Officer Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with customers via telephone, electronically or face to face.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- Operate, and troubleshoot when necessary, office machines including but not limited to photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voicemail, laminator and computers.
- Enter estimates, proposals and work orders and give copy to Arborist, checking for spelling and grammatical errors.
- Manage bid processing and year end licensing.
- Manage scheduling calendar, calling clients to notify of scheduled appointment.
- Handle JULIE locates when necessary.
- Assist other staff and management with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Customer oriented with the ability to adapt and respond to different types of personalities.
- High school degree.
- This position is full-time and requires Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.
