- Must meet at minimum requirements of Assistant Teacher as outlined by EEC.

- Assist in planning and implementing the daily program
- Assisting in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing materials and supplies

- Attending all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences
- Participating in professional organizations that work for the improvement of Early Childhood Education
- Provide a safe, clean environment in the classroom
- Organize and maintain classroom, equipment, toys and supplies
- Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them and changing their diapers
- Supervise all activities to ensure children’s safety at all times
- Provide appropriate emotional support for each child’s development
- Encourage problem solving and practice positive behavior guidance
- Establish a partnership with parents to support the needs of the child

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
