The Roof Technician is responsible for performing roof inspections and repairs for both steep slope (shingles, tile, metal) and low slope (TPO, EPDM, BUR) roof systems. Additionally, the Roof Technician must have excellent customer service skills and work well with a Team and independently.

Essential Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify issues and assess repair needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Install new roofing systems.
- Work with a team.
- Work independently.
- Oversee large jobs.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations. (OSHA 10 or 30-hour training).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation on work performed.
- Estimating projects.
- Construction software. (Easybuild, Procore, Dash Company cam).
Physical Demands
- Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Be able to work in confined/enclosed spaces for long periods of time
- Be able to climb ladders and stairs frequently throughout the day
- Be able to work from heights greater than 6 feet high for long periods of time and throughout the day
- Be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull, and grasp frequently throughout the day
- Be able to work more than 40 hours per week when required
- Strength to lift and maneuver materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
- Vision to read printed materials
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over a radio or telephone
- Be able to lift overhead at least 75 lbs
- Possess the strength and mobility to work in a typical construction site setting
- Stamina to perform sustained physical labor
Skills and Ability
- Previous experience in the roofing industry, with and understanding or roofing materials.
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour trained.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Strong customer service.
- Physical able to complete job duties. (climbing, lifting, working at heights, standing)
- Travel to jobsites.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Education Requirements
High school diploma preferred
Driver's license or the ability to obtain a driver's license required
Basic construction and safety knowledge
Be able to work outside in all weather
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
