Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
Provides professional nursing care for patients with acute and/or chronic wounds, ostomies, fistulas, tubes, skin, and incontinence issues. Works under the direct supervision of the Wound Care Clinician or providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Responsible for maintaining the standards of practice, complying with established policy and procedure, managing supplies and equipment, and promoting collaboration with medical and other staff. Supports the facility's mission statement, achieving customer satisfaction and identifying system problems as opportunities for improvement.
Required Hours: Full time day shift.
Wound Care Certification preferred.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program. Must maintain CEUs as required by the state.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years of clinical experience in nursing preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
Current BLS certification required.
