The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed in the state of Rhode Island. It is preferred that she/he have some experience with persons with developmental disabilities. Experience with community nursing is a plus.
Competencies expected for this position are that the RN will be able to train employees and be well versed with nursing regulations.
The successful candidate for this position will be confidential, energetic, and flexible.

Applicants should have experience with handling crisis situations and troubleshooting successfully.

Applicants will also be expected to develop positive relationships with the individuals we support, employees and family members, as they are highly involved and have high expectations.
Applicants will be required to teach two to four trainings a quarter on Medication Administration and Core Curriculum.
The position is full-time during week days from 8:30am-4:30pm. Some flexibility is required for situations that may occur after hours or on the weekends.
