Position Summary:
The National Account Executive will represent the company in the sale of its products and services to prospective customers. Aggressively solicit program contracts, projects and orders for the profitable sale of the company’s products and services. Develop and maintain relationships with the customer as primary external company liaison.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain primary sales role with assigned accounts in the development of new products/services and sales growth.
· Solicit new programs, products, services, etc. to increase the sales volume and profitability of accounts within assigned sales territory and/or area of responsibility, as assigned/directed by VP of Sales & Marketing.
· Work to create relationships and open new customers within assigned sales territory and prospects.
· Work closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing to establish and implement a Strategic Territory Sales Plan.
· Create new and utilize existing presentations, models, samples, etc. for customer presentations.
· Provide complete project information to all internal departments (i.e. Design, Installation Services, Client Services, Engineering, Estimating, etc.) through applicable Project Entry Procedures/Systems.
· Work with Client Services to coordinate information requirements with customers to insure proper overall account setup, management and order entry.
· Assume secondary and/or advisory role to Client Services Account Management for existing, day-to-day business and service of accounts.
· Work closely with Client Services and Manufacturing to coordinate with customers on any problems or complaints and ensure their handling/resolution to customers’ and company’s satisfaction.
· Maintain Sales CRM System with accurate, timely and complete territory data.
· Develop quotations for customers from estimates provided under project request system.
· Manage Everbrite and customer inventory in a manner consistent with corporate goals.
· Adapt standard company products to customers’ needs to ensure standardized requirements and specifications whenever possible.
· Prepare sales forecasts under guidelines set forth by company.
· Prepare reports, itineraries, expense reports, etc. as needed.
· Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
· Recommend new products, modifications of existing products, and deletion of obsolete items as you deem appropriate.
· Comply with all company policies and instructions for the fulfillment of company objectives.
· Assume the obligations of good citizenship and participate in worthwhile community and national activities as may be required for sound public relations for the company.
Educational Requirements / Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field of study or equivalent years of related experience.
· Minimum of eight years’ experience in sales or a minimum of five years’ outdoor sign industry sales experience.
· Must possess sales personality, be goal-oriented and have a basic understanding of manufacturing materials and processes used by the company.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM Programs (SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, On Contact or similar).
